CNP ASFALISTIKI, a long-term promoter of the Cyprus Automobile Association (CAA), was one of the sponsors of the renowned CYPRUS RALLY for the fifth consecutive year. The race came to an end on Sunday the 18th of June 2017.
CNP ASFALISTIKI, a long-term promoter of the Cyprus Automobile Association (CAA), was one of the sponsors of the renowned CYPRUS RALLY for the fifth consecutive year. The race came to an end on Sunday the 18th of June 2017. Τhis year´s rally was the 4th round of the European Rally Championship (ERC) and the 3rd round for the Middle-East Rally Championship (MERC). Thus, the CYPRUS RALLY is the only race in the world which hosts two regional championships of the International Automobile Federations (FIA). A total of 75 crews from Cyprus, Europe and the Middle East raced over 724 kilometers in 14 special stages of mixed surface (dirt/asphalt). The highlight of the CYPRUS RALLY 2017 was the CNP ASFALISTIKI SUPER SPECIAL STAGE that took place on the roads of Nicosia and entertained thousands of motorsport fans. It was internationally broadcasted, thereby promoting both the image of Nicosia as well as of Cyprus through the racing skills of top-class drivers.
