CNP ASFALISTIKI SUPPORTS THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE ACTIONS ON ROAD SAFETY

CNP ASFALISTIKI and the MINISTRY OF DEFENCE join forces on Road Safety issues for National Guard soldiers.

CNP ASFALISTIKI and the MINISTRY OF DEFENCE join forces on Road Safety issues for National Guard soldiers. CNP ASFALISTIKI actively supports the efforts of the MINISTRY OF DEFENCE aiming at creating awareness and the appropriate culture to Road Safety for soldiers.

In a press conference held on June 15, 2016, at the Officers' Club in Nicosia, the Minister of Defence, Mr. Christopher Fokaidis announced this collaboration on issues related to Road Safety. Within the context of «Positive Incentives» announced by the MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, CNP ASFALISTIKI and the MINISTRY awarded 10 tablets to soldiers, who used public buses for their transportation to and from their units.

In his address, the Chief Executive Officer of CNP CYPRUS INSURANCE HOLDINGS Group, Mr. Takis Phidias, stressed the extensive involvement of CNP ASFALISTIKI on issues related to Road Safety. He stated that this action is only the beginning of a wider joint campaign entitled: «Road Safety, Life and Honor Contract». By signing this contract, the soldiers and their parents agree to adhere to road safety guidelines and regulations. CNP ASFALISTIKI will provide incentives to soldiers handing them 15 tablets following a lottery.

The Minister of Defense awarded the Chief Executive Officer of CNP CYPRUS INSURANCE HOLDINGS the MINISTRY OF DEFENCE escutcheon, for CNP ASFALISTIKI´s extensive involvement on issues related to Road Safety, as well as for its sponsorship to soldiers.
