ROAD SAFETY EVENT AT YERMASOYIA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

“When I ride my bicycle, I always wear my helmet!”, was the theme of the event that took place at Yermasoyia Elementary School, on February the 28th and was organized by the students and the School’s Administration, in cooperation with CNP ASFALISTIKI. In the context of the relevant campaign, the students, under the guidance of their teachers, participated for fifteen days in various activities, in order to acquire the necessary knowledge, so as to enjoy bicycle riding and to anticipate potential risks. CNP ASFALISTIKI with the approval of the Minister of Education and Culture sponsored various related supporting activities for the school.

The campaign falls within CNP ASFALISTIKI’s Social Responsibility actions for educating, Elementary School students on Road Safety matters, in order to cultivate Road Safety consciousness.

The event which was under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Culture, was addressed by the General Manager of CNP ASFALISTIKI, Mr. Andreas C. Stylianou, on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the School Inspector, Mr. Andreas Theodorides, the Police Traffic Department Manager, Mr. Spyros Spyrou and the Head Master of the School Mr. Christos Tofas.
