"Let’s not leave our dreams turn into ashes!" Press Conference | Fire Safety Week 24–30 April 2023 by CNP ASFALISTIKI and Cyprus Fire Service

CNP ASFALISTIKI and the Cyprus Fire Service, for the 22nd consecutive year, are collaborating in a major effort aimed at raising awareness of the public regarding the prevention to fires.

"Let’s not leave our dreams turn into ashes!"
This is the central message of this year's Fire Safety Week, which will be held from April 24 to April 30, 2023, under the auspices of the Honorable Minister of Justice and Public Order.

The starting point of the Fire Safety Week was the press conference organized on April 24, at the Headquarters of the CNP CYPRUS. Greetings were addressed by the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Mrs. Anna Prokopiou, the Deputy Chief of the Cyprus Fire Service Mr. Dimitris Katsifli and the CEO of CNP CYPRUS Mr. Takis Phidia.

The actions of this year's Fire Safety Week are completed with the Fire Safety Open Day Event that will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at METROPOLIS MALL, in Larnaca. Fire trucks and fire equipment will be exhibited there, there will be a 360 photobooth open to the public, while there will be special activities for children, as well as a stilt. The entire event will be accompanied by a live link from the CYBC. Executives from CNP ASFALISTIKI and Cyprus Fire Service will inform the attendees about Fire Safety issues and will distribute symbolic gifts to the public.
