Road Safety Week 2023 | Open Day Event

Let’s not let our dreams fall apart!

Within the framework of the Road Safety Campaign, which is co-organised by CNP ASFALISTIKI and the Cyprus Police, Traffic Department, for the 24th consecutive year, the culmination of the joint actions was the open day event that took place on Saturday, October 7th at My Mall in Limasol.

The public had the opportunity to explore an area with vehicles that had been involved in traffic collisions, as well as Police vehicles. Members from motorcycle and bicycle clubs informed the public about their safety equipment and the appropriate use on the road. Demonstrations were also made with goggles simulators for the consequences of alcohol, substances and fatigue. At the same time, there was a live link, 360 photobooth and a stilt. Executives from CNP ASFALISTIKI and the Police informed the participants about Road Safety issues and distributed symbolic gifts.

The Road Safety Week was under the auspices of the Honorable Minister of Justice and Public Order, with the goal of raising awareness and informing the public, regarding the great effort to minimize traffic collisions and protect human life.
