The pupils and teachers of Lykavittos Elementary School on the 9th of May sent a strong message on Road Safety through the Road Safety event, which took place for the eighth consecutive year. The theme of this year's campaign was “I am a cautious passenger, when I wear my safety belt!” and focused on educating the children as passengers of vehicles. During the two week program the aim was to raise awareness concerning the importance of road safety in children’s lives. CNP ASFALISTIKI with the approval of the Minister of Education and Culture sponsored various related supporting activities for the school.
Within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility, CNP ASFALISTIKI in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture, supports the Road Safety campaign in Elementary Schools. The objective is to set the foundations for educating responsible future drivers.
The event which was under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Culture, was addressed by the General Manager of CNP ASFALISTIKI Mr. Andreas C. Stylianou, on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Inspector of Primary Education, Mrs. Elena Charalambous, the Police Traffic Department Deputy Manager, Mr. Antonis Georgiou and the Headmistresses of Lykavittos Elementary School Mrs. Soteroula Chrysostomou-Vouria and Mrs. Eleana Stylianou.
